13th Tacoma Homicide of 2023: David Robinson
It was just after 9:00pm on May 14, 2023. Thirty-six-year-old David Robinson stood at a fenced gate. An unknown male approached him. Words were exchanged. Then the male walked eastbound down the sidewalk. David went to the porch of the house he was at and then followed the man down the street.
Moments later gunshots rang out. First responders attempted life-saving procedures and transported him to the hospital where he later died becoming the thirteenth Tacoma homicide of 2023.
David’s murder remains unsolved over a year and a half later. There is surveillance video showing the initial exchange. There are also witnesses who authorities claim were less than cooperative. But there is no statute of limitations on murder.
