Hello. For the last seventeen years I’ve operated TacomaStories with funding through donations. This year, I switched to Substack to make it easier.

It’s important to me that everyone is able to access the articles on TacomaStories regardless of whether or not you’re a paid subscriber. That said, some funding helps pay for maintenance on the website and offsets the time I spend working on it.

Given that being a paid subscriber has few perks. You do get a trinket of questionable value. (Those will be sent out in September.)

I’ve had a few people ask if they could support the site at a lower level than $5.00 a month and while Substack won’t allow me to make regular subscriptions cheaper, I can offer special discounts.
