Twenty-six-year-old Lane Gouker used to live at the Aero Apartments in the 9300 block of Ash Street with his ex-girlfriend, but they had moved out weeks before.
I walked home from school with him rode our bikes and skateboards together wore each others clothes we had grown up from the age of 12 at gray middle school my guy had to be one of my closest friends but felt like we were blood brothers.
Lane was a intelligent young dude I met him when he was about 14 years old and I was dancing at the time (jerking) he fell in love with the passion and excitement of dance I kept him as close as I could as long as I could but he’s in a better place not having to working about things down here, love you little bro prayers going up for you! 🙏
Lane was my best friend really my big brother so was the man eho shot him so im very conflicted. But i will tell you this, lane had a big heart 💙 He grew up on the Eastside of Tacoma, and he loved where he was from 💯 Lane was kind of like the class clown in school 🤡 He enjoyed making people laugh. And he was naturally funny 🤣 he didnt have to try hard to get people to like him. He was very outspoken and wasnt afraid to speak his mind 🗣️. I know he acted like he didnt care about anything or anyone, but actually he cared to much. He would share anything and everything he had with you. He was the person you would call in an emergency 🆘‼️ And he was also a notable figure in our community. He loved cars, and was always in something new 😂 He was adventurous, he went everywhere 🛣️ he was up beat . You would never see him without a smile. I also wan tto take the time to say that the 24 year old who allegedly shot and killed him didnt do it #freekeithcovey hes falsely imprisoned. He didnt do it 💯 and if you dig deeper youll agree with me

Its crazy that picture doesn't even look like him. He is definitely missed and was loved by plenty of people. Another young life gone too soon all because people feel its ok to use guns to solve their problems. Its very sad. RIP Lane.
