Hi Jack, Jordan was my nephew. He was murdered just a block from where I live in tacoma. My sister, his mom, is in California, and she forwarded this article to me. She's still struggling with the fact that she never got to say goodbye, hug him one more time, hear his voice. We all are, but her, her grief is bottomless. He has five beautiful children who will never know him. By the grace of God we are pulling through. Jordan wasn't a transient. He was just addicted and ashamed. We were here for him, but if you've had a loved one addicted to anything, you'll understand how difficult that can be. He was a son, a father, a nephew, a cousin...he was so loved. Thank you for this article. It is so true. God bless your compassion, God bless you, and God bless all those who have lost someone they loved. -Julie
